About

I approach my writing with a reporter’s curiosity, an editor’s eye for detail, and a songwriter’s sense of story and rhythm.

As a health and wellness writer, I have covered everything from outdoor recreation to childbirth options to the latest technologies in breast cancer treatment and cardiac care. My work has been published by East Bay Regional Parks Foundation (Bay Area), Western Health Advantage (Greater Bay Area & Sacramento), Dignity Health Dominican Hospital (Santa Cruz), John Muir Health (Bay Area), Brown & Toland Physicians (Bay Area), El Camino Hospital (Silicon Valley), Ochsner Health System (New Orleans), AMITA Health (Chicago area), Overlake Medical Center (Washington state), Reading Health System Foundation (Pennsylvania) and Valley Health (West Virginia & Virginia).

Through my work in Beverly Hills—as editor of the Beverly Hills High School Alumni Association’s magazine and former editor of Beverly Hills Weekly—I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing fascinating people, including city officials, diplomats, judges, educators, business and entertainment industry leaders, and a 20-term congressman.

A lifelong Californian, I grew up in the East Bay and graduated from UC Berkeley before moving to Los Angeles in 2011. In my free time, I enjoy making music, exploring my backyard—the Santa Monica Mountains—and road tripping throughout the West.
